About Us

The Policy Office is a function within the Ethics & Compliance department.

• We establish policy standards and manage the development and maintenance processes for UC Merced administrative policies and procedures.
• We provide guidance to Policy Owners, who are responsible for policy research, drafting, quality, maintenance, and publication of policies and procedures within their functional areas.
• We coordinate campus consultation for systemwide policies and initiatives and provide consolidated feedback to the respective responsible offices or policy owners.
