Description: Enacted to support the campus parking, safety, and law enforcement functions, this policy governs the use of automated license plate recognition systems (ALPR) on any property owned, leased, or controlled by UC Merced. The policy ensures that UC Merced’s collection, use, maintenance, sharing, and dissemination of ALPR Information is consistent with federal, state, and local law and local practices.
